The 2012 Tiger football team voted for the right to wear the #1 jersey this past week. The player that gets to adorn the #1 best represents the core values of the Tiger football program. The basic foundations of the program include; unselfishness, leadership and discipline.
Matty Sheehan will wear #1 in the 2012 season. Matty models all of these values. Last year Wallace Branche wore the #1 jersey. The awarding of the #1 is a tradition that will be carried on each year.
